Hello. I am new to this site. My poodle (Puppet) is almost 5 pounds and is pregnant by my Maltese (Sonny). I am concerned because of her size. I would love to hear from people who have bred maltipoos before and their story. (like how many pups, any complications, ect) Thank You- Sheila

Hi and welcome to the forums.
I do not mean to sound rude, But if you knew there was a chance this was going to happen you really should have kept them apart.
The only thing you can really do now is as much research as possible.
Always think the worst what could go wrong usually will go wrong.

Most dogs are easy whelpers and have no complications.
I know nothing about maltipoos as i do not believe in mixing breeds as your only asking for trouble.

    How old are both dogs?
Are they upto date on there shots, wormers?
Do you have extra money to take your girl to the vets office for a check up during and after the pregnancy aswell as having the pups checked over once they born and beofre they goto there new homes.
Could you cull any of the litter thathas things wrong with them like, Limbs missing, cleft palate, Water on the brain?

With any animal pregnancy its a case of luck, sometimes things just dont work out,
Good luck and hope things turn out well. But like i say research as much as you can before the big day...
