3 months 1.4 lbs. How do I determine grown size? Chihuahua?

I have spoken to various breeders of course including where I purchased my little boy, and I've read information it's all somewhat perplexing.

Although I know there is no guarantee on size of a dog, there must be some guidelines that are pretty accurate. The last info I look at was a chart that told me based on his weight he would grow up to be about 2.5 -3 lbs

Anyone out there have any experience or input on this?

    thanks, paulina

    Hi Paulina,
I have head that if you take the weight of the dog at 4 months and double it, that will be the size of your dog full grown.

They growth chart is pretty close give or take a lb . I have a chi male 11 weeks and that is 1.9lbs and he will make about 3 to 3 1/2 lbs.
