Describe a typical day with your dog(s)

I thought this might be a fun thread ~ What's a typical day like for you & your dog(s)?

 

We get up, well they wake me up when its time to go out. One of my poms hides cause she doesnt like it outside and she sneaks into our bedroom and sleeps for a while. When we are all back in the house we are couch potatoes and they all must lay on me to watch tv. Anytime I move they are RIGHT there. I really hadent though of how much they follow me until you asked this question lol. They are heartbroken when its time for me to go to work. My 4 yo is close to FiFi my lazy pom, she sleeps with her, lets her dress her up, she will take a binki from my daughter, let her push her around in a stroller. It is just too cute. I will have to get pics.

 

the typical day for bella and i lately goes like this:

my bf wakes up and takes bella out to go potty she comes back in gives me some kisses, while i sleep, and snuggles in close to me to go back to sleep. about 2 1/2 hours later the alarms starts to buzz, and i reach across bella to hit the snooze button. she snuggles in closer
when we do finally wake up, we get up, get her some breakfast and play a little. i go to the computer to study, she comes up under the desk, by my feet, places her chin on my knee and whines until i pick her up and put her on my lap. she then goes to sleep on my lap
i study for a bit, take bella out for a walk, and leave for work. she goes up on the couch and watches through the window as i leave.
when i return she *attacks* me with kisses
we play, she eats dinner, we play some more. i shower, she tries her absolute hardest to climb into the bathtub and then we go to sleep

 

Our typical weekday is:
Since Daddy is already gone, Bailey and I wake up together with kisses, snuggles and snooze buttons. (By far, the best part of my day!) I get up and turn the t.v. on for him and arrange the blankets for him to be able to snuggle up and nap -- and still watch the t.v. and still have an eye on the bathroom door (where I head for the shower). Bailey is at my feet the entire time as I get ready and then BOLTS! under the bed the minute he realizes that it's time for me to go (usually when the blow dryer turns off or the shoes go on! LOL). I then have to go get the BIG OLE MEAN BROOM!!!! (i'm not kidding! LOL) to "scare" him out from under the bed.... (after months of trying to get him out, that's the only thing that works! LOL). He then gets locked up ( :cry: ) in the kitchen/dining/laundry rooms --- where he does God knows what when I go to work. I assume it's lots of singing (since I leave the radio on for him) sleeping and POUTING! LOL. I come home for lunch every day to take him for a walk for his much needed potty break.... and then back to work.

Everytime I come home, we have this ritual that I open the door to the laundry room and he is standing there with a toy in his mouth (usually it's his alligator or star fish, if you're curious) and his tail waggin like it's nooooo-body's business! LOL.... It's soooo freakin cute!! I fall in love with him every time. I immediately sit on the bottom of the stairs to get to his level and he walks up to the third/fourth stair to get to mine... and it's KISS-KISS-HUG-HUG time. We then have to play fetch for AT LEAST five minutes (if you stop early, he lets you know)..... and then we proceed with the rest of our nite....

He is over 10 months old and still follows me whereverrrrrrrr I go all night long. (this hurts daddy's feelings, but mommy sure loves it!!)

 

Work ,kisses ,work ,hugs and kisses ,work ,work work ...then more work ,then snuggles and kisses ,then sleep ...I think ...I may still be working ! LOL :lol:

 

I love hearing these stories!!! Thank you for sharing ~ MonsterBailey, that is just too funny! I can't believe you have to get Bailey out from under the bed w/a broom..LOL!
