![]() ![]() I have a 9 year old siamese cat who had been sneezing a lot I took him to the vet and thought maybe it was an upper respiratory infection. He has been on a couple of antibotics with no improvement he has actually worsend very quickly . They believe he may have a tumor and after talking with many vets it sounds like it would be best to put him to sleep. He now developed a large abcess between his eyes and has broken open. I thought maybe this was a sign that it wasn't a tumor. Is this possibly a sign of somthing else or does this happen with tumors especially if cancerous. Thanks for any advice yoou have. sincerly Michelle IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() Have they done any scans? Any X-rays? Scoping? Any bloodwork? Referred you to someone else? What are the symptoms other than the sneezing? Have any lumps or tumors been seen/biopsied? Is cat an outside or inside cat?. Did they mention squamous cell carcinoma by chance? Before you put kitty down, don't take "guesses" from vets, get a real Dx. Sometimes illnesses mimic a possible tumor being present. Contact your state's veterinary college or a feline oncologist near you soon. God bless. IP: Logged |
