I have triend everything the odor repelants the whole deal! Nothing seems to work! I don't want to have to abandon her! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |

Could be several things... She could have an infection — bladder or urinary tract. Or lots of times it has to do with behavior — is there a new animal in the house, any changes, etc. that could be upsetting the cat. Also, I think you said "she," but if it's a male cat and he isn't fixed, he'll pee on the floor. Your best bet is to first find out if it's an infection, which could be very painful and would need to be taken care of right away. IP: Logged |

One more thing... sometimes cats will pee over your cleaning product because it is trying to cover up that smell. I know someone whose cat started peeing in the center of the carpet for no apparent reason. She moved the litter to this exact spot and the cat went in the litter. After a few days she slowly, gradually started moving it back to its original spot. It worked. Please don't abandon your kitty. If it does have a problem, it needs you and is counting on you for help and unconditional love. IP: Logged |
