She is probably just really upset, confused and scared...hopefully she will come around. I would definately give the canned food a try and in the meantime you may want to look into getting some Rescue Remedy to help calm her. IP: Logged |

I am experiencing the same problem with my new cat.....all he does is stay under my daughters bed. He has been with us for 6 days and still refuses to eat and has drank very little. How long can this go on? IP: Logged |

Your little kitty's are going through a traumatic time as they are at a new home with strange people. Keep talking to them and reassuring them your not there to hurt them you want to love them. I would try a calmer see if that helps.... Try giving it some tuna or some chicken and hopefully in a couple of days they will eat.. IP: Logged |

Just to add let the cat have free run of the house so she/he can find there barrings as this helps them settle alot quicker.. IP: Logged |

You may want to find out what type of food she has been used to eating. If shes eaten only one type of food for many years she may not even recognize that what you are giving her is food. IP: Logged |
