my cat gets put in my room every night and every morning at 3am sharp she is up and digging her claws into the carpet and scratches the door. i let her out then 10 minutes later she is doing the same thing, wanting in again. finally i lock her in the basement but that does not help. she finds her way up again and startes the whole thing over again. HELP I NEED MY REST!!!!

Suggest you read my response to Howling Kitten at Night"a few posts down. How can you lock your cat in the basement and it get out? Makesure it can'tget out and shut it in there when you go to bed. Good luck.
