my 13 week old kitten has got an eye infection in one eye for which i have got some eye drops but he has started sneezing,not all the time.he has no discharge from his nose and his other eye is ok.he is eating and drinking as normal and is very playfull.any ideas what this could be. thank you. its normal in some kittens to have sneezing fits when i got my mom her kitten for her birthday he did it often but nw hes perfectly fine....both his eyes were alittle mucky when we got him but after a while of eye drops his eyes got better IP: Logged |

thanks for your reply. i have taken him to the vets and have been given some more eye drops.his tear ducts are over producing so the tears are getting into his nose and therfore making him sneeze.hopefully now we have the new drops he will be better soon. IP: Logged |

unfortunately both of my kittens now have coughs and colds.have been to the vets and now they are antibiotics,should see some improvement in a few days.it seems stange we have only had them since january 2nd but already they have been to the vets more times than our previous cat ever did.(she died at christmas after a thyroid operation) i blame myself for this as i should have taken her to the vets sooner,she never really recovered from the operation and actually died at the vets and not at home so we never got to say goodbye.maybe now i am being over cautious with our new boys.
