I think I may be allergic to my kittens. They both love to brush up against my face especially Pippin.I have now come out in spots on my face,I am taking antibiotics for this problem.I have a lotion to put on their fur because I am also athsmatic will this also help with the problem with my face.Any ideas. There is also a shampoo and conditioner that you can buy from Jeffers Vet or Omaha Vaccine or Lambriarvet specially designed to have a residual effect on the dander, to lessen any and all allergic reactions. Regular vaccuming and brushing or combing and bathing can add some benefits as well. I respect your desire and action to try keeping these kittens in spite of the reactions you are having. I truly hope you succeed, animals need a home with such love and determination! God bless. IP: Logged |

If your allergy does not get better on its own as your body adjusts to the kittens, consider asking your doctor about the possibility of getting alergy shots. My friend has just completed his treatment with them and is cured of his cat allergy. IP: Logged |
