Hi, my name is Lila. My cat has given birth to 4 fantastic kittens and they are lovely. They are now 3 weeks old and i was wondering if it is ok to handle them now (their eyes opened a week ago). I was on a website and it said it was ok to handle kittens from 2 weeks old and that it was a good idea to hadle them as they would get used to humans. I have handled them but my cat seems to get distressed by this and starts licking them. i don't want to distress her a and i want to do the best 4 the kittens. Can anyone help me? Is it ok to handle them? Lila IP: Logged |

Yes, it is okay to handle them. It is a good idea to handle them actually so they are not afraid of people. When handling them just be sure move slowly, talk softly ect. as to not distress the mother. IP: Logged |
