I was just wondering how old kittens have to be before they can go on solids? My cat has had 4 kittens and they are now 3 weeks nearly 4 and up and walking around. If anyone could help me with my quirey it would be very much apprechiated. Lila IP: Logged |

I started giving my rescue kittens canned food around 3wks of age in addition to their mothers milk. I think 3-4 weeks is a good time to introduce solid food but they should'nt be fully weaned until 6 - 8 wks. There is lots of great info. on this site: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Pointe/9352/owners.html IP: Logged |
