I have a 6 month old kitten, Shelby. Love her to death. The thing i have noticed lately is that one, she is not eating like she used too, and second, if she turns around her hind end tends to topple over like she is hurt. It is not a fast turn or anyhting like that. She can jump ok, not the brightest at times, but I still love her. I don't know what to do. I have given her canned food to see if that helps her eat, she just licks the juice off the food and will maybe eat a little, then walk away. Any help would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Hi Sounds like a trip to the vet is needed. Hopefully your kitty is vaccinated against such things as FeLV as this can cause neurological problems as can FIV. Though it may just be she is injured. As for the canned food problem lots of cats just eat the jelly, fussy little buggers! Try different brands of food and flavours until you find one she likes. IP: Logged |
