a stray cat went in threw my doggie door and had 2 kittens in my garage 3 weeks ago. The cat will not let us touch her but I put food and water out for her. I check on the kittens a few times a day. Last week I noticed blood comming out from one of the kittens but hole, it was not eating and moved very little. My husband was at work and the kitten died before he got home. As we only have one car I was unable to take it to the vet. Well 2 days later and second kitten started bleeding from its bum too. Again my husband was at work(he is in the marines and had to work a 24hour shift)when he got home the next morning the kitten was dead. Dose anyone know what could have happened to these kittens. I have 2 indoor cats one is 6 and the other is 21 and 3 Boxers(Dogs)I'm worried my animals could get this and die with in 24 hours like the kittens did. Mom cat seems fine. What should I do? This may very well be a sign of worms. get your kittens into the vet IMMEDIATELY. Worms are common among kittens, but quite obviously needs to be treated ASAP. Even if it doesn't turn out to be worms, these cats deserve to go to the vet. Here's a site I found with info for kittens health: http://www.sniksnak.com/cathealth/breeding2.html Good luck! ~Heather~ IP: Logged |
