help i just got a new kitten and i can't get it to eat or drink anything what can i do?

How old is the kitten and how long have you had it? Im guessing that the kitten is either not yet weaned or very new to your home...in which case he may not be eating or drinking because he is in a strange new place and is a bit upset or confused.

Also..if he is very young and you are feeding him dry food it might be too hard for him to chew. You may want to try canned food or try mixing a little warm water into the dry food to soften it up.

And if it's really young, it will probably like Evaporated milk. The feral kittens here got weaned in a 'jippie' on that!
