My cat is 14 and has always been in good health. Recently she has started these spells that last about 3 hours. She just goes around sniffing everywhere. She gets stuck behind and under things while doing it, has walked off the stair landing, etc. We thought she was going blind, but she is not. I think she might be having mini strokes or something. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? IP: Logged |

Hi Have you had her checked out by a Vet yet? At age 14 there is a chance that something could be wrong that is at the begining stages. Any change in behaviour in a cat is worth checking out as they often don't give any sign of being sick until it is too late. Her disortintation during these spells has me concerned, she is in danger of hurting herself if she falls while in this state. She could have a neurological condition that can be treated, so go get her tested. With luck she could soon be back to her old self. Greypaw IP: Logged |
