Can't you just keep the cats inside? It would be safer for them and for the pigeons. If not, have you considered building a small cat pen so that they can enjoy the outdoors safely without causing harm to other animals? IP: Logged |

Hi First of all I agree with the above post about building a cat pen. Your cats are in danger of being hit by a car if they roam across the road to see the birds. So you need to keep them on your side of the road. You can do this with these steps: 1. Keep the cats inside, or build a cattery attachment onto your house so they can enjoy outside without roaming. 2. If you can't to this then distract your cats from straying by making your backyard better than your neighbour's. Eg: build cat entertainment trees/benches/shelves etc, maybe get some birds yourself (in a outdoor cage) or a bird bath. 3. Ask your neighbour to squit your cats with water (turn on the hose) everytime they wander onto his property. That will enforce his property as a bad place to be, and they may give up eventually. Good luck IP: Logged |

Hi, Re the last message, I agree with points 1 and 3, but not no 2 regarding birds. Cats and birds don't usually mix and building a birdbath would be dangerous for the birds. Great idea though to get your neighbour to squirt them with water though. IP: Logged |
