During my search for a shelter for my cats I came across some disturbing news, aparently some "No Kill" shelters do in fact kill some animals and only keep the "adoptable" animals alive until they are either adopted or no longer "adoptable" and then are put to sleep. Legally since they do not kill all the animals they are not required to inform you of their policy of killing all non "adoptable" animals. Make sure you ask, and spread the word around. I think its just horrible they can get away with that!
