Ok...
on his chin he has something... it looks like it could be dirt at the root of the fur, but it's not. I tried took get it off but the fur is starting to come off to! Could it be fur mites?? How can I be sure? I don't want to have to take him to the vet and have to pay $25 just for the office call!
Please help!

you might be able to call the vet and tell them it is an emergency and you have to see them as soon as possible or maybe just come in and see what they can do for you.
