I brought my cat to the vet Monday cause he was persistently vomiting,(other than that, he was normal) he was active and had no fever, so i thought it was just a stomach virus. Now, 2 more visits later, he is lying in the pet taxi, eyes open, not moving, breathing slowly, with a tube attached to his neck for meals. First they said it was bactieria, then it was some kind of kitty disease (haemobartonella), now it's possibly kidney or liver failure, they threw in the possibility of diabetes also. it's a hellish thing, not knowing whether he'll live or not, seeing him lying there miserably, imagining the pain and confusion he must feel. I don't know how much more of this I can take (i can't stop crying every time I see him)....I miss the way he was 4 days ago. IP: Logged |
