I am unemployed and have nop money right now but, I have a cat that belonged to my Mom whom passed away and I promised to take care of her cat before she died.
My question is she has hypothroydism and is aprox 18 years if not older.She has been peeing allot, drinks tons of water but has been good other than that. Now she has watery poop and does not eat or drink....just stares at her ater dish and food plate with soft meows.............

Does this mean she is dieing? Very confused on what to do!

I agree, you should contact a vet. When a cat stops eating and drinking it can turn serious very quickly. Good Luck.

I've been reading about this all day - my 19 year old cat just died yesterday. He most likely had liver disease, which I just chalked up to 'getting old'. The most humane thing, in my opinion, would be to put your cat to sleep before she starts experiencing a lot of pain. Although it was relatively quick for my cat, I will never know if he was in pain before he died and for how long. Take your cat to the vet and they will be able to help you make a decision. If you have no money, a really caring vet will work with you and let you make payments. Good Luck!

18 is very old, but please try to find a vet that can give you some information. god bless..
