I'm so sorry to hear that. My heart goes out to you. It will take time for you to dry up the tears and smile at the thoughts of your loved one. But, it will happen. Let yourself morn and heal in due time. It just happened... I'm sure it will take some time to feel better. IP: Logged |

Hi Bugaboo: I am sorry to hear of your loss. When my pets passed on, I was feeling pretty blue but it helped a little when I "buried" them in a virtual pet cemetary to keep their memory alive. There ar loads of virtual pet cemetaries out there. You can add a picture, description, stories and visit them as often as you want. Things will get better over time. My thoughts are with you. Bless your heart and soul - words can't express the sympathy I feel for you. I've been...lucky with all of my pets in that I've never (personally) actually had to see one...without life. I am very grateful for that, as I have no idea how much pain that would bring. My cat has been gone (ran away) for two and 1/2 weeks now, and the mama in me keeps seeing him on the side of the road in my mind's eye... I feel seeing him...like that...would do irreparable damage... I am so very sorry for the pain you are feeling, but as my mom tells me, "this too shall pass away." And not to murder cliches - but time really does heal all wounds. Find strength in that thought, and know so many people's thoughts are with you. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry for your loss and I've been there. I lost my first best friend in 1992 and it actually took me four years to get over the fact she is never coming back. My best advice is to share the memories with everyone you know and have a memorial in cat's name. And please don't try and fight back any tears because it supresses the way you really feel and one day you'll just explode. It is actually really relieving to cry and cry. IP: Logged |

I'm very sorry for your loss. My cat died a week ago because of kidney problems and we were worried about my other cat getting lonely so we got another cat. Surprisingly it seemed to help everyone. IP: Logged |
