![]() ![]() ![]() My cat is peeing in our laundry basket of dirty laundry and on my daughter's bed. He has been an indoor cat, but lately we started letting him out and now he wants to go out all the time, but he comes right back. We clean the litterbox once a week. What else can we do to make him stop? In the past 4 months he has done this about 6 times or so, maybe more. He does not act sick. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Sounds like he's ticked off at you for not letting him out when he wants to go out. If he wants to use the great out doors to do his business, then that could be why he's doing it in places where he knows you don't approve. You didn't by any chance change his litter, did you? There is a spray called Feliway that helps eliminate this behavior. I would buy the one with the video and follow it exactly. It's a positive synthetic hormone that is soothing to them and contradicts the negative, marking behavior. Other than that, I would take him to the vet to make sure he doesn't have a urinary tract infection. IP: Logged |
