my new 5 month old just had a poo and there was blood in it. I've had him for a week and this hasn't happened before. The breeder said before that he might have worms is this why there's blood? IP: Logged |

blood in the stool could be an idication of worms or it also could be an indication of some other problem have a vet give him a check up to make sure there is nothing wrong when was the last time your kitty was wormed. i used to worm my cats every 3months and even tho they didnt get fleas i made sure they were protected against them aswell every 6months as flea eggs cause worms in the intestine, but if the blood does not clear up take him to the vet keep us posted IP: Logged |
