My 2yr old cat is biting and scratching all the time. She has created sores, whent they heal there is no fur, or she makes the sores bigger. What kind of topical ointment would be the best to us? How would i stop her from biting and scratching? IP: Logged |

In order to stop this behavior you need to find the cause. How long has she been doing this? It could be fleas, allergies, mites or even stress. If you have'nt done so already I would treat her with Advantage and see if that helps. If this behavior continues after you rule out fleas as a possible cause I would take her to a vet. Your vet can check for mites or other problems or if it turns out to be allergies your vet may be able to prescribe something. Keep us posted. ------------------ IP: Logged |
