I have a year old male neutered cat, had him since he was a little kitty. He's a Savannah (but at least 4 generations removed from his wild blood). I have another kitty he was raised with, and there are no problems with the other savannah. He's always been talkative, but as of recently it is unbearable. I live in NYC and my neighbors can hear him at night, it is a real problem. He is healthy and no other problems with him. He does this howling usually at night and he knows he should not be doing it...he gets zapped with a water gun or confined to the bathroom when it really gets out of hand to try to prevent it, it is almost as if he does it knowing it is bothering me! This is behavior of a feral non-neutered cat..which my little guy is none of the above. It's such a problem that I have not slept in a number of nights. I have tried the phermone spray and it did not work. Does anyone have any suggestions? IP: Logged |
