My kitten is a normal, healthy, little girl. She's 6 months old,and recently spayed. In the past month, she has thrown up on 3 seperate occasions, for no apparent reason. When she throws up, it's not hairballs either,it's vomit. It looks like digested food. I do have an appointment for the vet on Wednesday, but I figured maybe you all would have some ideas on why they throw up. She's not sick, and doesn't over eat,so I'm at a loss here. IP: Logged |

She could be eating too fast or getting an upset stomache from playing too soon after eating. Some cats just seem to have sensitive stomaches or it could be an intolerance to something she is eating. Let us know what the vet says. IP: Logged |

ok,back from the vet. She said the throwing up is probably just from sensative stomach and that cats throw up more than any other animals for no reason at all. My kitten is also 6 months old and weighs 6.8 pounds,I thought it sounded small, but the vet said she's fine...thanks for the help guys! IP: Logged |

Im glad to hear it was nothing serious. There are a few brands of cat food made specifically for cats with sensitive stomaches...maybe one of those would help. IP: Logged |
