I have a kitten problem. My kitten keeps on shaking her behind and when I look under her, where she pees gets wet. She keeps crying and rolling around. She's been going on like this for over a month. People tell that it's because she wants a male. Is it true? or if not please let me know the problem and what to do. IP: Logged |

How old is your kitten? It does sound like she could possibly be in heat. IP: Logged |

she's 7 months old. She also keeps looking out the window and when I open the front door she's always running out. [This message has been edited by itznowornever (edited 11-28-2003).] IP: Logged |

If she isn't spayed, you need to get it done soon unless you want a house full of kittens. IP: Logged |

Call the local humane society or animal care and control and ask if they have any low cost spay and neuter programs. IP: Logged |

I agree. Call around, there are a lot of programs out there, especially in bigger cities. If you have a Humane Society of the United States check with them since they sometimes have low cost spay/neuter clinics. IP: Logged |

Check with your local SPCA or animal shelter. You can also check these sites to see if there is a low cost spay/neuter program in your area: http://www.friendsofanimals.org/spaying/cover.htm [This message has been edited by nern (edited 11-28-2003).] IP: Logged |

I know that to get a cat spade cost about $60cdn, but often Cat adoption agencies and human societies will offer it at a discount IP: Logged |
