My cat is about 1 1/2 years old and is acting fine. But we've noticed her scooting across the floor on her bottom twice yesterday and today. I've read that's an indication of worms?? Also we found a tiny green worm on our couch. Can cats have a green worm?! I would appreciate any information. Thank you!

Not really sure about the green worm thing, but I would defintley take your kitty to the vet to get checked out.

The scooting could also mean that its anal sacs are full and need to be expressed, or it could just mean that it felt like it had something on its bottom.

I don't think the green worm came from your cat. I don't know of any green worms cats get. If you think she might have worms, the best place to look for worms is in her poop. Look the next time she goes.

Keep an eye on her and if the scooting continues, go to the vet.
