I would love to hear of any cat food recipies out there that anyone makes for their cats on a regular basis. Anything that cats really love? I think I'm going to start feeding my cats this way.

The only thing I make for them really is Chicken which I don't do much to. They don't really like it when I put stuff on it...although they love it when i cook it in italian marinade or dressing but thats not good for them. I just boil up some chicken pieces cut them up and put them in the bowl...they love it. Same goes for fish...they love crab meat actually but thats expensive. But I ahve given them filet of sol before and they liked it.

Seriously though, as far as pet food goes, try Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. The name is cheesy (made me hesitant to buy it at first) but they absolutly LOVE it and it's much better than Iams and not much more expensive. You can go to their website (http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com/) and see a list of places it's sold or go to www.petfooddirect.com and buy it there.

You might be interested in a book called "Home Prepared Dog and Cat Diets" by Stombeck. There are lots of recipes and it tells you how to balance them properly.
