My Henry is a five year old gorgeous kitty that's has been our home for almost two months. In his previous home, he lived with his brother, but they were seperated and adopted.

He is an indoor kitty and does everything right-poops and pees, eats all his food (he usually wants more)and plays. The vet gave him a clean bill of health.

He is super hyperactive. I play with him before and after work and he usually sleeps through the night.

The problem is that he cries ALOT. Even when we are playing,he cried and it is a cry of frustration and makes me worry that something is wrong. I asked the vet if it was a thyroid thing, but the vet said no.

Are any of your cats like this? It's only during his super hyper period when he is running around and then I start to play with him that he whines like this. I cannot get another cat to be his companion, unfortunately.

Perhaps he misses his brother, you mentioned that they were separated.

I would try getting him a new kitty friend.

I wouldn't worry about anything else unless his usual daily habits become irregular.

I think he's talking to you...and what a wonderful thing. I have one siamese that'll "carry on a conversation" with me. It's actually quite funny

Unfortunately I cannot get another cat right now. And there is no guarantee they'd get along.

He does talk to me and it is adorable, but the crying sounds more of frustration and whiney.

Blanche talks to me all the time.

Sometimes she cries in frustration when we are playing together and I don't let her catch the toy often enough. For this reason I stopped using the Laser Light she got mad that she couldn't catch it.

Maybe you just need to let him catch the toy more often.
