Hi - I saw another post where a new member introduced herself and her family. Thought I'd follow suit. I am a lover of all animals, but most of all - you got it - cats! I live in Boise, Idaho and absolutely love it here. I have two cats - both non-specific breeds, adopted from the Humane Society. One - Pepper - is a six year old female, gray-striped and white tabby. She's supposed to be my cat - I take care of her primary needs - but she's always favored my husband. So this year, I got a new bundle of joy. Baybee is another female - now about six months old - with all white fur except for a couple of dark gray spots on her head and a lighter-tipped gray tail. She's all mine! She loves ME (though still not nearly as much as I love her). So which of them is smarter - Baybee, who acknowledges that I'm her true caregiver - or Pepper, who HAS to know it since I'm the only one to feed them and clean the litter box but also seems to know, no matter who she favors, I will love her, and feed her, and clean up after her anyway?! I think the one thing she wasn't expecting was that I'd bring home another kitty one day, though! And she's NOT going away! Ok, now I'm just rambling - when I should be going back and reading all of the previous posts! I'd post a picture, but don't have a clue how to do that - as far as finding a place to "host" my picture online. Can't wait to get to know you! IP: Logged |
