Hi Zeke01,

In an earlier post you mentioned the $30 ceiling to floor post you got at Walmart--do you know who makes them? I can't get them here in Canada but I live near the border and will be visiting the US soon and I wanted to see if the local Walmart there would have it. Thanks!

Not Zeke but a person on another cat board told me it was called the "Cat Craft Cat Tree" by the Cat Craft Co. of Calhoun, Ga.

Bah I just threw out the box. I didnt notice a brand name...it just said Kitty Tree in big pink letters on the box. Its a nationwide item seeing how I found it in Nevada and the original poster found it on the east coast.

And mine isnt spring loaded like Zeke described...i had to screw the top part up to the ceiling when it was in place...and I already had to tighten it once....maybe I got a different one! Same price and from the same store...different color tho.

Here are some pictures of Kittens (dont ask ....my roommates started calling him that...and yes....theres an s at the end!) on the top playing with a dangly toy that i tied to it. The top of mine is a little different than Zekes and its a tan color. Must be more than one brand making it as there werent any options or different styles to choose frm at my Walmart.

Thanks, guys! I called the nearest Walmart and they do have a floor-to-ceiling post for $30, sounds like it's the right one. I just hope there are some left by Saturday--I might get two!
