Just out of curiosity, I thought I would post this question... We were blessed with our 3.5 year old kitty, Foster (aka "Buddy"), when he was about 2 weeks old!! We figured he was the runt of the litter and was abandoned by his mom. Since he was about 1.5 years, he occasionally "makes out" with various items. It started with our bath mat. Later, I left a soft sweater on the floor and he took to that. Now, we have a plush cat bed and he goes into a zone of pleasure and continuously kneeds the material while sucking on it and purring. That usually happens when they are weaned too young. They suckle on soft fuzzy things. I have had a few do that, they usually grow out of it though. IP: Logged |
