Author | Topic: possible UTI? |

![]() ![]() ![]() Hi all, For the last 2 days I have noticed that my 2-y.o. male has been urinating against the back side of the litter box, such that it actually spills out of the box. He's never done this before. He has also been licking down there a fair bit. Could this be a possible UTI and is it worth a trip to the vet? His eating and drinking appear to be normal and his abdomen doesn't appear to be sensitive to touch. Thanks! IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Some of mine also urinate against the side of the litter boxes...they don't do it every day but do it every once in a while. I think this is fairly normal for some cats to do. Maybe you can just keep a close eye on him over the next few days? Watch for signs such as frequent trips to the litter box and difficulty urinating. If your really concerned a trip to the vet could'nt hurt. IP: Logged |
