Hi fellow cat lovers ) I have a problem with one of my cats. Mr.Chubbs is about a year old now and I've noticed that in the past couple of weeks he's been shedding a whole lot more. Now I know what you are gonna say "Duh he's a cat" hehe The thing is I can't stand animal hair. I brush him at least once a day and as soon as I finish and pet him, there's a bunch of hair all over him again. I worry more about hairballs since I've started noticing him making retching sounds. Is there anything that I can use to help keep the excess hair off of him. It's getting to the point where I'm finding clumps of hair all over my house. And yes I know I'm a very picky cat owner LOL ) IP: Logged |

have you ever tried a Zoom Groom? You can find them in Fosters Smith. Having pets is usually a guarantee of some pet hair flying around...not sure if there is much you can do about them shedding especially this time of year. I give my cats Pounce Hairball treats when they start to show signs of hairball issues. IP: Logged |

I'll go and pick up some of the Pounce for hairballs and see if that helps. I haven't found any vomit from him, so far he's just making retching sounds. I'll go to Pet Smart and try to see what a Zoom Groom is. Thanks for the quick response! IP: Logged |
