I have a kitten Abby, 7 months old. He got into a jar of almonds, and I think he ate about a quarter cup of them. The next day he threw up several times, and for 36 hours has not eaten. (nothing has come out either) This crazy feeling I have is that he is punishing me. When he became ill, he meowed at me, never feeling like that in his young age, and now blames me for being sick. Now he won't eat or drinkdespite exhausted efforts. Our relationship has been a very good one until this incident. Am I a the new KittyDad, and just worried too much about my kitten, should I give him more time to overcome, or is it vet time? I remain

quote: At this point I would definately get him to a vet. Cats can develope fatty liver disease from not eating for extended periods of time. I don't think he is trying to punish you...he is probably just not feeling very well. IP: Logged |
