Hi guys! I have a big problem that I hope you can help me with. We just bought an old victorian house. We moved our 3 cats here Sunday evening. We put their litterbox in the basement and cut a hole in the door from the kitchen so they could easily go down to use it. We have found #2 twice in the corner of our office. There is a little bit of stuff in the litterbox also so someone has used it. Do any of you have any suggestions to get them to use the box? Oh yeah I forgot to say that when we first brought them over we put them in the basement with the litter and left them for about 30 minutes before we cut the hole in the door and let them find their way out.(all except my almost blind persian-but that's in another post) Thnaks in advance for the help!Have a great day!!! are they used to being allowed in a basement? You might have to just give in to what they are telling you and have a litterbox upstairs available to them to (they might be trying to train you) IP: Logged |

You're right! They are used to just going down 2 big steps into a utility room to use the box. They probably are training me-they are really good at that!!!!HAHA LOL IP: Logged |
