i was cleaning my cats ears out, and this black stuff came out. I have been putting ear mite stuff in his ear, but the black stuff is still there!!! how can i clean it all out? some of it is like caked in! He is really really old, and we have only had him for about 2 months, we found him. Thanks!

sounds like earwax and dirt... most cats have this problem.

You can use a solution of hydrogen peroxide and warm water 50%/50%

use a needless syrenge, and gently fill each ear, let it sit for about 20 seconds and drain...use a q-tip to only clean outside the earcanal. trying to get the inside stuff out can push it down further and cause ear ifections....
