My cat Yasha is loosing fur . Like all his fur only on his bottom part of his stomach is gone. Yes and I have tried taking him to the vet.The vet say's theres nothing wrong with him, he is fine not even ringworms. He does not lick or scratch that part of his stomach at all.He is a 13 inch, 4 year old, orange tabby.I feed him 1 ounce of a can ,like 4 to mayby 5 times a day.He always has a big apetite. So what could be the problem? P.S. I hope I gave enough information. IP: Logged |

I'm sorry, I don't have an answer. Did the vet say anything about allergies? IP: Logged |

My first thought would be allergies. Does the spot where the hair loss is occuring seem irritated at all? You can repost this on the new forum if you want...you may get more replies there. [This message has been edited by nern (edited 03-21-2004).] IP: Logged |

See if you can find something here that will help, it talks about a lot of the reasons cats lose their hair: http://www.nzymes.com/Articles/cat_skin_hair_problems.htm IP: Logged |

Fleafly when are you going to come to the new forum? It's not the same without you there. KittyKat I replied to your post in the new forum. IP: Logged |
