I have been researching different dog foods. I currently feed my 6mth old toy poodle science diet. Ever since I found out that its not that healthy I have been looking for different brand. I think I am going to change to "Nutro Natural Choice Lamb Meal& Rice Formula". What are your opinions on this brand. Does anyone one use Nutro? The information on this brand looks really healthy. here is a link to check it out. http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?familyid=10014&sku=7910520170&tab=1&dept_id=193&c1=182&c2=183&c3=193&ct1=Food&ct2=+By+Brand&ct3=Nutro+Natural+Choice IP: Logged |

It is not a bad brand. Check out this site. www.naturapet.com It has some of the Nutro varietys on this site to come or even just to click on the individual ingrediant in each food. It will tell you what it is and if it is a good thing to have. Some of the ingrediants are by products of an actual thing like instead of whole eggs they just use parts of it that may not have been wanted by someone else. Do you know about by-products? Just read about the ingrediants in Nutro all together it will be helpful to you. Of course can you tell we use Innova. All of those brands on the site are compared to Innova. Dr foster and Smiths food seems to be pretty good too. IP: Logged |

I have used Nutro in the past and my dog did fine on it, if your options are limited I think Nutro would be a good choice. Its definately a step up from SD. IP: Logged |

I have completely switched Angel over to Nutro and she seems to love it! No problems so far. I hope it improves her coat. Nern did you notice any difference when you feed your dogs Nutro? IP: Logged |

Yes, there was definately a difference in her coat(softer and shinier) after switching from Purina Puppy Chow to Nutro. Hope it works out well for your pup. IP: Logged |

I will have to wait and see. How soon did you notice a change? IP: Logged |
