When I first got my puppy I would take her on outings to socialize her and get her used to the car. She would not be her usual happy self in the car, but she wouldn't get sick. Now that she's about 19 weeks old, she throws up every single time we go someplace. Whether it's a 30 minute drive to the vet or a 10 minute drive someplace else, she gets sick almost immediately. If it's a longer drive, she'll get sick multiple times. I've tried waiting a few hours after breakfast to leave, but that doesn't seem to help. Can you give me any advice on what to try next? I'm also taking her to the vet tonight for a professional opinion, but it helps to have different perspectives! Thanks, IP: Logged |
