Hi... My name is Lu...I have a little maltese of 3 months which was recently hospitalized for severe dehydration, and gastro intestinal problems...he is still at the vet, and has been for 4 days, sometimes he seems okay, and sometimes he is not. I need some one to give me more information. The vet has told me it is not Parvo, nor carona virus. Eventhough today he has been more stable than ever, he has stopped the vomiting and diahrea. He has been on antibiotics. The vet also says that he is really weak still because his glucose is low... But does anyone know....will he be okay? Is he going to die? I am extremely depressed, as well as anxious. I have been crying for 3 days straight...please if anyone has had similiar experiences...please email me, luciapodesta@hotmail.com IP: Logged |

I know of someone that has two malts and both of them have had intestinal problems. She and her vet are finally finding out what is wrong with them. If you would like to talk to her please go to http://furkids.proboards10.com/index.cgi?board=poodle She is the moderator at the poodle forum. If you don't want to post a question, just click on her name, JMM and it will take you to her profile and you can post a private message to her. She would be more than happy to help. Her dogs are older and she has gone thru alot with them. ------------------ IP: Logged |
