I know first hand this works since the holidays are upon us and many of us can't help but putting galls orniments on display its important that we all know this. If you suspect or wittness your dog eat a piece of galss(it looks tasty and colourful to them) follow these steps. first when you put up your tree purchase a container of half and half cream and put it in the freezer also buy a bag REAL cotton balls (not the "cosmetic" puffs) dont induce vomiting 2) defrost your cream and get out your cotton balls 3) tear the cotton balls in half and dip a half at a time into the cream 4) feed them one at a time to your dog in a clam manner Dogs really seem to like this treat. the cotton will wrap itself around the glass pieces in the digestive system allowing your dog to pass it safely and eliminating the risk of cuts or tears interally from the glass. if it was only a small piece of glass only feed a few coton pieces to your dog. happy holidays claire IP: Logged |
