I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! That must have been terrible.

Here is an FAQ site about parvo that may help you: http://www.workingdogs.com/parvofaq.htm

Oh god, thats awful!
Puppies should be vaccinated at 3 weeks for parvo. The pkg's reccommend 6 wks, but in reality puppies get parvo fast at a young age.

Parvo is in the ground, its a sporatic illness thats spread by the wind an other dogs that were infected.
COmpletely sterilize your yard, inside and outside your home EVERYTHING witha mixture of 1/10 bleach/water mixture in a pump up sprayer. For your furniture you can get the clorox wipes. They wont' bleach your furniture!

Your other 3 puppies need to go to the vet asap!
A simple blood test and urine test will tell if they have it. Just because they aren't showing signs yet, doesn't mean they don't have it.
THere are 3 strains of Parvo, and one is able to be passed to humans, THe easiest one to cure has an incubation period of 10-12 days, the next one takes about 3 days and the last only 24-36 hrs.

Good luck.
