I, too, am a fan of the doberman. I am on my fourth one now, have had two blacks and two reds, I lost the other three at about ten years, way too soon, from different problems. They have all had that sweet lovable temperament that seems to surprise many people who are not familar with the breed. They are thought of as vicious guard dogs. Mine does have a powerful bark which is enough to scare people away until they meet her.
