I have a 65 gallon tank with 2 firemouth cichlids, 2 assorted angelfish, 6 tigerbarbs, 4 Fancy Goupies, 2 Placos, 2 cory catfishes, and an Apple Snail. I was wondering if I could introduce 2 pacus? Help please. IP: Logged |

Yes you can introduce 2 pacus. They'll be the only fish left in your tank though except for the snail... IP: Logged |

HHHMMMM without the pacu's your guppies are going to get eaten, your tiger barbs will nip the fins off of your angels, your firemouths will harrass and/or kill your cories and probly the angels, and most likely eventually the barbs. I'd say your snail will end up being desert. If I was you, I'd put the pacus in teh 65, put thefiremouths in a 55 with a pleco, put the angels in a 20 tall with a pleco and the snail, put your guppies and cories in a 10, and find a new home for teh barbs somewhere. Just a note, pacus are realted to piranahs and get pretty damned huge, and if you are looking at red bellied pacus they have teeth liek paranah and are fairly aggresive. DONT IMPULSE BUY WITH FISH!!!! Do some research first! IP: Logged |
