I have a large red parrot and I have successfully taught it to say "Hello" "Who's a pretty boy" and "Pieces of Eight" What success have you had? IP: Logged |

Hi Interesting that you try to tech your bird to speak. I have many birds that I keep at my farm in Northern Sweden. I keep them locked up over winter, but in summertime I usually let them go outside a little bit. Why do you want your birds to speak? Two of my birds speak (I have 23). I find it annoying IP: Logged |

I HAVE A PARAKEET. I HAVE TAUGHT HER TO SAY "PRETTY BABY" SHE ALSO MAKES A SOUND THAT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE SMACKING THEIR LIPS .AND SHE HAS MEMORIZED THE SOUND OF MY SON'S PLAY CHICK. I NEVER KNOW IF ITS HER OR THE TOY. SHE REALLY CRACKS OUR FAMILY UP. IP: Logged |
