A pair of my budgies (pretty light green and yellow girl and a dark blue boy) 1st egg hatched this morning!

The baby is so little and pink. It's mother has been excellent, she religiously sits on them and only comes out for short breaks.

I'm so excited!!!

congratulations hope all goes well..

Have you given the parents soft foods to feed there babies..

when the babies have reached 2weeks old you can then remove them from the nest to clean it out then replace them until then it is best not to disturb them or the parents.. good luck and hope u have lots of fun with the new family..
