i have cockatiels and budgies in an aviary and one of my female cockatiels has taken one of my male budgies as her mate they feed each other and i have even caught them doing the business hehehehe i always thought birds only paired and bred with there own breed of bird so why have mine done this have they gone mad its either that or he is very highly sex driven lol

That is very interesting let us know if you have babies and what they look like i also thought they would stay with their own kind guess the saying is true looks mean nothing lol
