What steps should i take when bringing a second keet home. i know to put her in a different cage for 1 to 2 weeks before putting the new on in the cage. should i allow them to see each other a little bit during outside of the cage time? thanks for all the help you guys! -kyle IP: Logged |

Hi,While the birds are in there seperated cages you can have them in the same room aslong as the cages are not to close together. Getting another bird may help her to stop being lonely. cage bar size if you look through them at your bird and you think she be able to squeeze through then they are 2 widely spaced. mike. hi you will need to have your new bird In a totally differnt room for no less than 30 days to make sure that It Is not sick after this time you can have them In the same room In there own cages for a few weeks or so after a while I would find a nertural place for them to meet one another for the first time out of the cages keep a good eye on them after a while when you see that they are good friends you can put them in the same cage just make sure It Is big enought for 2 no smaller than 18 X 18 x 18 ------------------ god could not be evere where so he Invented mothers [This message has been edited by kathy5 (edited 02-13-2004).] IP: Logged |
